Amando Marozzi is a Research Officer on the SOLID project at the European Institute (LSE), working with Prof. Waltraud Schelkle. As a political economist and macroeconomist, his interests range from macroeconometric techniques to the political economy of central banks. His research also focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP).
His background is in European political economy, Macroeconomics and NLP. He completed his doctorate - "Essays on Applied Macroeconomics" - at the London School of Economics (LSE). He holds an MSc in Political Economy from the LSE, an MSc in Mathematical Economics from Birkbeck, University of London and a five-year route (BSc+MSc) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Macerata. Alongside his academic career, he worked as an Economist at Medley Global Advisors, Goldman Sachs and the European Central Bank (ECB).
