Tobias joined CPEC in 2020. His work has primarily centered on estimating the causal routes through which COVID-19 spreads in care settings, as well as understanding how different care home characteristics made certain homes more or less likely to experience outbreaks. He has also worked on the analysis of COVID-19 social care data for local authority policy makers.
Tobias holds a BSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from LSE and hopes to apply econometrics to a wider range of issues. He has research interests in the fields of health, environmental, and development economics.
