Moritz’s research focuses on the impact of transition risk on the financial system, and particularly scenario analysis to derive sensitive intervention points for financial policies and assessing the implications for central banks and financial regulators. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, which he joined in 2023. He is an Associate at the University of Oxford Institute for New Economic Thinking, an Academic Visitor at the Bank of England, and an Associate Research Fellow at the UK Centre for Greening Finance and Investment.
