Meet your LSE student ambassadors

Helping to bring the CIVICA community closer together

LSE-CIVICA student ambassadors act as informal voices of our pan-European alliance of social science specialist universities.

Meet your Ambassadors for 2022/23

Isable_Mangum

Isabel Mangum is a second year BSc International Relations and History student

I wanted to get involved with CIVICA because the exposure to a variety of global perspectives here at LSE has shown me that utilizing international collaboration in education can create new policy approaches to solving global problems. The CIVICA Alliance gives LSE students the invaluable opportunity to expand your perspective through international exchange and use your social science education to improve international cooperation.

Elžbieta Janušauskaitė is a postgraduate student at the European Institute studying Culture and Conflict in a Global Europe.

As a graduate student at the European Institute at LSE, I believe CIVICA provides an important space for dialogue regarding Europe and its future. I wanted to become a CIVICA ambassador so that I could find ways to engage with these ongoing debates in more innovative ways. I believe that now, perhaps more than ever, academia has to go beyond its marble walls and engage with business, civil society and policy makers. CIVICA is a wonderful way to become part of the conversation!
