Nicholas Cron has taught in the Department of Statistics on a wide range of courses since 2004. He is currently the lecturer in charge of ST108 Statistical Methods for the Social Sciences and ST205 Sample Surveys and Experiments. He also lectures at Birkbeck, taking courses in Computational Statistics and in Linear and Non-Linear Optimisation. In addition, he teaches in the LSE Mathematics Department.
Nicholas has a long-standing interest in Medical Statistics and is currently collaborating with colleagues in the Department of Emergency Medicine, RoyalLondonHospital. He has been commissioned to write the book ‘Research Methods and Statistics: An Introduction for the Health Sciences’, covering the Philosophy of Science, Research Methodology and the History of Medicine as well as applications of Statistics.
