About me

I am a researcher and social practitioner with a strong passion designing, implementing, and researching behavioural change interventions in the real world. I believe that changing some of our collective trends of behaviour can drastically improve the world we live in, and that social norms and collective action are some of the most engaging and powerful ways to do it.

I have several years of experience working with private organisations, public institutions, and social movements. I have been an external advisor to the International Labour Organization (ILO), Head of the Cultural and Behavioural Change Team at the agency of the Colombian Government in charge of civil service, research assistant for former Mayor of Bogotá Antanas Mockus, and partner at the Behavioural Lab LT.

At LSE, I research behavioural change interventions based on social norms. Specifically, I explore how these interventions can be made more effective using Installation Theory, Subjective Evidence-Based Ethnography, and the Citizen-Culture approach. My work in this domain has focused on challenges relevant for both policy and private organizations (such as decent work and representation processes with ILO or driving behaviours and fuel consumption with truck companies).

I also hold a B.A. in Anthropology (Summa Cum Laude degree) from the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and an M.A. with Distinction in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
