Jacob is a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science at LSE, where he also obtained his PhD. Much of his research and professional experience is related to sensemaking in organisations.
His PhD investigated how quantitative and qualitative methods for measuring, understanding and improving psychosocial factors and well-being in the workplace can be improved by using intensive longitudinal methods and data feedback. Specifically, the PhD investigated how sensemaking, agency and change are affected by employing an Experience Sampling Method with immediate feedback to employees and teams in organisations.
Prior to obtaining the PhD in Social Psychology, he completed an MSc in Organisational and Social Psychology from the LSE, as well as a Master (cand.psych.) in Psychology from the University of Copenhagen.
