I am a Fellow in organisational and digital psychology at the London School of Economics. I hold a PhD in Information and Organization Studies from The University of Warwick, UK. In the past I have held a research and teaching position at the European Research Center for Information Systems, Münster University in Germany.
My research and teaching investigate the digital space, namely the relationship between information technologies and our ways of organising. Specifically, I am interested in exploring the critical and affective turn in practice-oriented, processual, and performative epistemologies. This approach seems particularly important if one is to understand how technologies might disrupt existing work practices.
My empirical enquiry draws on ethnographic studies of games and blockchain developers, plus observation and archives, to develop new theories to the information and organisational discipline. It is argued that we need to look at technology design not only with economic, institutional and technical lenses but also through the affective, subjective and ideological dimension carried by discourse.
