I grew up in Greece and I studied political science and history in Athens (BA, MA Panteion University, Athens). I hold a PhD in Modern History from Queen Mary, University of London. My research focuses on the International and intellectual history of Modern Britain and Southeastern Europe since the late nineteenth century. I have held teaching and research positions at Queen Mary University of London, UCL, Durham University, NYU, King’s College London, City University of London, the University of the Peloponnese, the Hellenic Open University, and the Academy of Athens. I am also co-hosting the International History Now! podcast series with Dr. Dina Gusejnova and leading the global 1922 project. You may find more about my work in my personal website.
