Lisa is a part-time researcher at LSE Cities working on The Apprenticeship Programme in City Design. She graduated from the University of Manchester with a bachelor's degree in architecture and was awarded a distinction.
After that, she joined HTA as a Part 1 Architecture Assistant and was involved in a housing scheme called the Lakes Estate development. Although her primary role was to produce the graphics for the project, she was also engaged in consultation events, which have helped shape the Lakes Estate proposals.
She is currently pursuing her master’s in architecture at the Central Saint Martins, King’s Cross. Her research is focussing on the relationship between waterways and the city and uncovering sustainable and innovative approaches to living with water. While studying, she was also an assistant in-house illustrator at HTA, responsible for producing hand-drawn illustrations for masterplans, bids, and regeneration projects.
