'Poetry and Choices' Programme Details

As part of the LSE Literary Weekend we put together a series of poetry events with Poet in the City, a registered charity committed to attracting new audiences to poetry, making new connections for poetry and raising money to support poetry education.   These events were supported by the LSE Annual Fund.

*NEW* An online discussion covering the theme of Poetry and Choices is now live on Poet in the City's website.  Podcasts and videos of many of the events below are now available online.

Watch Out! Poetry Happenings

During the course of the weekend there will be a series of poetic happenings around the public spaces of the New Academic Building, in which actors and poets from LSE will engage in poetry outbursts and other poetry-related incidents in the spirit of Dada and the happenings of 1960s New York.  Look out for these eye catching public performances in the main atrium of the building.
