Global Risk: how civil society responds

What do terrorism, climate change, migration and the tsunami have in common? Myriads of people around the world were touched by them. How people responded depended on their perceptions of risk, shaped in part by the many individuals, movements and NGOs whose campaigns reach beyond state borders and domestic policies. 

Professor George Gaskell, Institute of Social Psychology is director of The Methodology Institute. Professor emeritus Lord Giddens is a former director of LSE and currently based at the Centre for the Study of Global Governance. Professor Mary Kaldor is director of the Centre for the Study of Global Governance.

This event is free and open to all with no ticket required. Entry is on a first come, first serve basis.
