Barcelona FC and collective identity. More than sports management?

Joan Laporta was elected President of Barcelona Football Club in February 2003. He is a well-known Barcelonist both because of his youth and his Catalan background. He graduated in law at the University of Barcelona (UB) and is member of the Law Professional Association of Barcelona, as well as of the Executive Commitee at the Lluch Foundation. He got an MA in Business Law and Taxation System at the Graduate Institute Abat Oliba and a Diploma in Business Law by the Law Professional Association of Barcelona. Mr. Laporta is associate and co-founder of the lawyer's office Laporta & Arbos.

Ticket Information

This event is free and open to all LSE staff and students however a ticket is required.

Friday 4 March update: all tickets have now been allocated.  

Returns Queue:
There will be a returns queue in operation for this event. Shortly before the event starts we will fill any empty seats left by ticket holders with people from the returns queue.  The returns queue will be located on the sixth floor of the Old Building outside the Shaw Library. Entry is not guaranteed to this event via the returns queue.
