Sonia Livingstone awarded honorary degree

Professor Sonia Livingstone of the Department of Media and Communications has been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Panthéon-Assas (Paris II).

Professor Livingstone, a professor of Social Psychology, was one of eight academics awarded an honorary doctorates. She gave an address at the ceremony and was presented with the award at the university’s graduation ceremony on Friday 29 January 2016.

Sonia Livingstone said: "My research on children's online experiences has long examined patterns of similarity and difference across Europe, so it was a pleasure to visit colleagues in Paris to receive this honour."
