Online Masterclass with LSE PhD Students 


Considering a PhD? Our research students have got you covered, from application to graduation!

The US Centre is organising a Master's to PhD online masterclass to support LSE master's students in planning and starting their careers in research. This masterclass is designed to offer an exclusive opportunity for LSE master's students to learn from current PhD Students who are conducting research on US-focused topics.

 We are working to schedule a 3rd "Master's to PhD" session. Please register your interest here and we will let you know when registration opens for the session.

Past masterclasses

In our first interactive session, Ariel Perkins (Department of Government, 4th year), Grant Golub (Department of International History, 1st year), and Rachel Zhou (Department of International Relations, 2nd year) discussed their own PhD journeys and answered questions from the participating students. 

This masterclass took place on Tuesday 21st of July at 4-5pm.

In our second interactive session, Fabio Bertolotti (Department of Economics, 1st year), Jacklyn Majnemer (Department of International Relations, 4th year), and Yonatan Levi (European Institute, 3rd year) discussed their own PhD journeys and answered questions from the participating students. 

This masterclass took place on Thursday 30th of July at 4-5pm.
