Developing LSE's endowment and investment income is critical to the long term health of the School.
We are keen to work with friends and alumni to encourage endowed gifts to the School. These can be made for specific projects under the broad priority themes of student support, research and teaching, and campus development, or for unrestricted School use. The capital value is held by the School, with the return on investment used for the project or purpose decided in consultation with the donor.
Securing endowed income for the School allows LSE to plan for the future, and in the long term will mean better facilities, better scholarships and better conditions for students, academics, and staff.
For more information on how endowments at the School are managed, please email LSE Advancement in the first instance and a member of the Development team will contact you to discuss your query.
