Impact is LSE's newsletter for supporters of the School. It celebrates both gifts made to LSE and the donors who make them, as well the impact that philanthropic giving makes around the School.
Summer 2015 - LSE's largest ever private donation, and the Marshall Institute for Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship it will be used to establish, are featured. After the School's success in the Research Excellence Framework (REF), we look at some of the case studies which received philanthropic support. We also take a look at the Institute of Global Affairs (IGA), and the opening of the Centre for Women, Peace and Security that will sit within it.
Autumn 2014 - in this special edition, Impact introduces new director of LSE Advancement, Chris Yates, as well as a new philanthropic direction for the School overall, focusing on four strategic priority areas: Realising Potential; Thought Leadership; Research Innovation; and Place and Purpose.
Spring 2014 - a close look at the transformative impact of legacy giving, images and quotes from the now open Saw Swee Hock Student Centre, and a summary of the exciting research being conducted at the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA).
