Each year the School hosts a dinner in honour of those listed on the Benefactors' Board. The 2014 dinner took place on 15 September in the Senior Dining Room.
Along with dinner and a drinks reception, guests were treated to a talk on inequality from Professor of Social Policy, Sir John Hills, who then held a dialogue with LSE Director Professor Craig Calhoun. Professor Calhoun delivered a speech after the dinner, alongside LSE Chair Peter Sutherland KCMG.
Professor Calhoun said: “This permanent list conveys our heartfelt thanks to those donors who have shown their belief in our work through making significant gifts to the School. These names are seen by all visitors to this building, inspiring and instilling the belief of the impact and power for good that philanthropy brings to LSE.”
Here a selection of photos from this year's event.
