LSE Annual Fund Michaelmas Appeal: Support the Centre for Women, Peace and Security

WPSAppeal

The LSE Annual Fund provides support for a range of projects and initiatives across the School that provide scholarships and bursaries, enhance the student experience, and contribute to LSE’s education and research innovation.

For the 2016/17 Michaelmas Appeal, the Annual Fund is inviting alumni and friends to support the Centre for Women, Peace and Security. The Centre, first of its kind in Europe, aims to combat impunity for the sexual violence that destroys lives and communities, threatens sustainable peace and development, and destabilises society.

With your gift to the Annual Fund today we will be able to further our mission: to produce the highest quality research, to contribute to the School’s excellent teaching programmes and – in the best traditions of the School – to apply social science knowledge to tackling real-world problems through public and political engagement.

Professor Christine Chinkin, the Centre’s inaugural director and a world-leading authority on international human rights law, has authored the appeal. You can read her letter to alumni and friends online

You can also support other areas of LSE, in keeping with the School's strategic priorities: strategic initiatives, student support, teaching and research excellence,  student life, or an academic department
