Student support

Ensuring the brightest minds are able to study at LSE regardless of their financial circumstances is an Annual Fund priority. On an annual basis gifts from alumni and friends help to provide financial support to students, many of whom would otherwise be unable to accept their offer of a place or continue their education at the School.

New Futures Fund Scholarships

The New Futures Fund offers essential scholarship support to students. Its support can be in the form of full or partial awards, and can include 'top-ups' to students whose other funding does not fully cover the cost of their tuition.

This year, 29 students at LSE are benefiting from scholarships funded by gifts from Annual Fund donors. These include undergraduates from the UK and all over the world.

Bursaries - LSE-UCT July School

The Annual Fund's flexibility enables it to provide bursary support to new projects at LSE, such as to the LSE-UCT July School.

The LSE-UCT July School is an exciting programme combining the strengths of LSE and the University of Cape Town in the social sciences. Each course is taught by a specialist in their field who holds a position at one of these world-class institutions. The Annual Fund supported a range of bursaries that enabled current LSE students to participate in this innovative partnership initiative.
