Realising potential

An LSE education is a life-changing experience. Its effect is felt throughout the future of each recipient.

Your support and belief in exceptional young people will enable us to offer the unique LSE experience, teaching environment and open horizons beyond to all talented students, regardless of background or financial circumstances.
Realising Potential Realising Potential

Realising potential means us fulfilling our pledge to dramatically widen participation in university education, broaden our population of exceptional students and provide an outstanding experience for all of our students in which they succeed and flourish.

We want to work with our donors to increase the number of young people who go on to use the education, training and culture that they shared in at LSE to lead the way in bettering society. Your life-changing support of and belief in our exceptional students enables us to offer the unique LSE experience, teaching environment and open horizons beyond to all, regardless of background or financial circumstances.

We would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about the impact of gifts towards:

  • scholarships and bursaries that open up the possibilities of an LSE education to all
  • teaching and learning initiatives, such as LSE LIFE and the PhD Academy, which support all of our students in achieving excellence in learning and life at LSE, and in succeeding, professionally and personally, in life beyond.
I was given a small bursary in 1992 when it was tough to make ends meet – it was a key factor in enabling me to stay at LSE and finish my degree. I appreciate as much as anyone the critical nature of giving to those who may need assistance.
