By making your intentions formally known to LSE’s legacy officer, you can become a member of LSE’s Legacy Circle. The Legacy Circle ensures that you are involved in the life of LSE and membership includes an annual lunch, receipt of our bi-annual Impact magazine, and invitations throughout the year to exhibitions and events.
A permanent tribute to our supporters
We are indebted to those who have followed in the footsteps of Henry Hunt Hutchinson and taken the necessary steps to include a charitable gift in their Will. In recognition of such support, LSE maintains a permanent book of remembrance, which acknowledges those whose bequests have been realised.
Updated annually, the book recognises individuals whose special regard and affinity for LSE has motivated them to bestow a legacy gift to the School. Their act of profound faith in the institution demonstrates their confidence in LSE’s enduring capacity to always seek to ‘understand the causes of things’.
For all realised bequests, legators are listed in LSE’s permanent book of remembrance, located in the Founders’ Room, 6th Floor, Old Building, unless they have indicated that they wish to remain anonymous. Where appropriate and possible, we will additionally mark specific buildings or rooms with a fitting acknowledgment of the gift, in consultation with the legator’s family and close friends.
