LSE Summer School
The LSE Summer School is the largest university summer school in Europe, and it will be celebrating its 28th year of academic excellence in 2016.
Based on regular undergraduate courses taught at LSE; over 70 intensive three-week courses are available in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, Business, Government, International Relations and more. Engage with leading-edge faculty at one of the world's best universities, situated in the heart of London.

Executive Summer School
Using our experience as a leading specialist social science institution, LSE Executive Summer School delivers cutting-edge thinking across a range of disciplines.

Methods Summer Programme
Now in its 5th year, the Methods Summer Programme is designed to provide a range of quantitative and qualitative methods to students, academics and professionals to enhance their research capabilities.
Over two weeks during August 2016, the LSE will offer courses in quantitative, qualitative and mixed social science research methods, as well as methods for economics and economists.

LSE-PKU Summer School, Beijing
LSE and Peking University have collaboratively run the LSE-PKU Summer School in Beijing every summer since 2004 and will run our thirteenth joint summer school from 8 - 19 August 2016. The two-week English-language international Summer School offers university-level courses in subjects including economics, finance, management, international relations, social policy, geography, big data and law, all with a focus on China and Asia. The programme is taught by outstanding faculty from Peking University and LSE.
The programme attracts students and professionals from around the world. In 2015, it attracted 285 participants of 50 nationalities, more than a quarter of whom were graduate professionals.

LSE-University of Cape Town July School, South Africa
LSE and the University of Cape Town will run the fourth LSE-UCT July School from 27 June - 8 July 2016. The two-week intensive 'summer school' style programme offers university level courses in a range of subjects including management, economics, international relations, geography, law, media and social policy, all with a focus on Africa. The programme is taught by world-class faculty from the University of Cape Town and LSE.
The 2015 programme attracted 105 students and graduate professionals from more than 40 nationalities around the world, to study issues relevant to Africa today on the beautiful University of Cape Town campus.

Our Summer Languages Programme offers a range of courses in the languages the LSE Language Centre specialises in.
Our 'Absolute Beginner' courses will give someone who has no knowledge of a language an introduction and some survival level skills.
Our 'Restarters', 'Beginners II' and 'Intermediate' courses will restore or improve your confidence.
Our 'Intensive' options will give you a thorough start or revision.
