Length of stay 
Accommodation for one session covers 20 nights. This includes the night before your course starts and the night of the last day of your course.

*Multi-session discount
If you are staying for consecutive sessions, we include the connecting nights for free. So for two sessions you stay 41 nights, but only pay for 40 nights, and if you stay for three sessions (62 nights), you only get charged for 60 nights.

Note: Twin rooms can only be booked by two students who know each other in advance of the programme (we do not allocate sharers on a random basis). You will need to enter your sharer’s name when you make the booking.

 

Location and description

  • Distance to campus: 1.52km / 0.9 miles
  • Closest Underground stations: Waterloo; Westminster

urbanest Westminster Bridge is located on the south side of Westminster Bridge, near the Houses of Parliament. Access to public transport is easy, with Waterloo, Westminster and Lambeth North Underground stations nearby. You can take a bus straight to LSE which takes approximately 15 minutes; it takes 25 minutes to walk and 12 minutes to cycle (the hall includes free cycle hire).

Each room has a spacious study desk and ample storage. Private rooms share kitchen and showers with two other rooms, whereas en suite rooms are grouped into flats sharing a large dining and kitchen area. All kitchens contain an oven, a stove, fridge/freezer, microwave and a dishwasher. Private study and tutorial rooms are available and there are two communal areas, a café and roof terraces. The hall has its own private health suite with gym, sauna, fitness studio and 18m pool, which Summer School students can use free of charge. Breakfast is included in the fees on weekdays only, and served on LSE campus.

Check-in, check-out and luggage storage

  • Check in from 3:00pm on the day of arrival
  • Check out by 10:30am on the day of departure

Meals and cooking facilities

  • Breakfast is included in the fees during the week only. It is served in the Garrick restaurant on LSE campus from 8am to 10:30am Monday to Friday. Visit: LSE Garrick
  • All kitchens contains an oven, a stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and cooking utensiles.

Cancellations

To cancel your booking, you need to let us know in writing. Cancellation of a study programme does not automatically mean that your accommodation is cancelled, too. Your payment will be refunded as set out in the table below. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions [PDF]
