Length of stay 
Accommodation for one session covers 20 nights. This includes the night before your course starts and the night of the last day of your course.

*Multi-session discount
If you are staying for consecutive sessions, we include the connecting nights for free. So for two sessions you stay 41 nights, but only pay for 40 nights, and if you stay for three sessions (62 nights), you only get charged for 60 nights.

  • Apartment contains: bedroom with double bed or king size bed or two single beds, open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, small bathroom with shower. A study area is available in either the bedroom or lounge. All apartments feature a colour TV. The mini-kitchen combines hob, sink, combi-oven and fridge into a well-designed space saving unit. A kettle and pots and pans are also provided.

Location and description

  • Closest Underground station: Holborn; Covent Garden

Grosvenor House is located on Drury Lane, in the heart of London’s Theatreland, and within five minutes’ walk of LSE campus. Covent Garden, Oxford Street’s shops and Leicester Square are also within easy walking distance.

Grosvenor House is unique within LSE accommodation in that all of its rooms are self-contained studios. They consist of private toilet and shower facilities and a mini-kitchen. Grosvenor House also has a communal television room and computer facilities.There is good disabled access to the building and a limited number of wheelchair accessible studios with modified kitchens are available. Breakfast is included in the fees on weekdays only, and served on LSE campus.

Reception opening times
8am - 10pm (security guards at desk overnight)

Check-in, check-out and luggage storage

  • Check in from 3:00pm on the day of arrival
  • Check out by 10:30am on the day of departure

Luggage storage

  • Available for check-in and check-out. No overnight luggage storage.

Meals and cooking facilities

  • Breakfast is included in the fees and is served in the Fourth Floor Restaurant on the LSE campus from 8am to 10:30am Monday to Friday. Visit: Fourth Floor Restaurant
  • All kitchenettes in the studios and flats have a two-ring hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and cooking utensils.

Cancellations

To cancel your booking, you need to let us know in writing. Cancellation of a study programme does not automatically mean that your accommodation is cancelled, too. Your payment will be refunded as set out in the table below. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions [PDF]
