Accommodation for one session covers 20 nights. This includes the night before your course starts and the night of the last day of your course.
**Bankside House is only available for the second session. That also means that the multi-session discount does not apply to bookings at Bankside House.

Note: Twin rooms can only be booked by two students who know each other in advance of the programme (we do not allocate sharers on a random basis). You will need to enter your sharer’s name when you make the booking.

Bankside House is located in the historic borough of Southwark on the Thames’ South Bank. A walk along the river will take you to the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern and the South Bank Arts Centre, as well as the famous Borough Market. Journey time to LSE campus is approximately 28 minutes on foot, 12 minutes by bicycle, or 25 minutes by public transport.
The residence is the largest LSE hall. Single rooms share toilet and shower facilities (one between two rooms), and single en suite rooms come with their own private toilet and shower. The extensive lower ground floor houses a quiet study area, an IT room, and a bar. Breakfast is included in the fees.

Breakfast is included in the fees and served in the ground floor restaurant every day from 7:30am to 10:30am.

Evening meals may be available, depending on demand; vouchers can be purchased at reception. Within the surrounding area of Bankside House there is a wide selection of restaurants, bars and cafes.

There are no cooking facilities at Bankside House, but you can make your own tea/coffee.

Cancellations
To cancel your booking, you need to let us know in writing. Cancellation of a study programme does not automatically mean that your accommodation is cancelled, too. Your payment will be refunded as set out in the table below. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions [PDF]
