Stonehenge & Bath

Stonehenge, estimated to have been standing since 3100 BC and built for a purpose that remains unknown, is a historical phenomenon. Magic, mysticism and the legend of King Arthur are all part of the story for this World Heritage site in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.

Stonehenge continues to draw awe-inspired visitors from all over the world. Your guide will separate fact from fiction, and myth from reality as you gaze upon these mysterious stones.

From rural Wiltshire, you will then travel west to Somerset and the beautiful city of Bath. Offering some of the finest architectural sights in Europe, Bath has a rich history dating back to Roman times. Spend the afternoon exploring the city, visiting the Roman Baths and enjoying stories of Jane Austen and Georgian high society.

Oxford & The Cotswolds

Oxford, The City of Dreaming Spires, is famous the world over for its ancient University and historical setting. The golden stone of university buildings with their spires, towers and domes have shaped a graceful and timeless city, which no visitor forgets. From the academic to the whimsical, Oxford has inspired some of England’s greatest writers and storytellers, see the river where Lewis Carroll took the real Alice in Wonderland boating and have the chance to sit at the Gryffindor table and visit the Hogwarts dining room.

From Oxford, explore the breathtaking Cotswolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The area is well known for gentle hillsides (‘wolds’), stunning countryside with river valleys, water meadows and beech woods, sleepy ancient limestone villages, historic market towns and for being ‘quintessentially English’ where time has stood still for over 300 years.
