Executive education summer school courses are taught to the School's high standard and are therefore academically rigorous. Participants are expected to be fluent in English, with a good first degree in a relevant subject, as well as at least two years of professional experience. Some courses have specific prerequisites, which are listed in the course description.

Alumni of the LSE and the Executive Summer School are both entitled to a 15 per cent discount off the advertised course fee.

Curriculum Vitae / Resume
Once submitted, your application will be assessed by an academic in the relevant field. You will be notified of the outcome within a week of submission.
Once you have accepted your offer, the place on the course is guaranteed for 14 days, and is confirmed upon full payment of tuition fees. Fee payments must be received within this time, otherwise your place will be made available to new applicants.
Pre-course reading materials (if any) will only be made available to you once fees are paid. To ensure content is current, some pre-course reading materials will only be distributed close to the start of the course.

Cancellation of courses
Occasionally it is necessary to cancel or postpone courses. Should a course be subject to a major change, applicants will be offered the option to either transfer to another course or receive a full refund. Any alterations to the programme will be made in writing no less than four weeks before the start of the programme.

Participants may cancel enrolment up until 7 days before the start of the course.
Cancellations made at least 30 days before the start of the course will be refunded in full, less a £100 application fee. Cancellations less than 30 days before the start of the course will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the course will not be refunded.
