Before I came to LSE, I was a research fellow with a multidisciplinary research group in Nigeria. After I graduated from the school, I went back to my home country to join my research group. Currently, I am the Principal Investigator of a study on" Socio-economic, cultural and health systems barriers to access to antiretroviral drugs in southeast Nigeria", which is being funded by the Wellcome Trust, United Kingdom.

Current Position: Administration Officer and Acting Coordinator, Botswana Substance Abuse Support Network

Country: Botswana

Getting a job after LSE was not simple as I had no work experience. However, the organizations and individuals that were interested in me joining them were numerous and varied due to my LSE degree. I worked on the inaugural Gaborone City Marathon, fundraising for other NGOs, and also worked briefly at PricewaterhouseCoopers Botswana. I am now happily employed at the Botswana Substance Abuse Support Network (BOSASNet), a local NGO with a mission to lead Botswana to be substance abuse free. I am applying the knowledge and insight I gained and honed at LSE, and continue to liaise with former classmates on matters affecting our work.

After graduating I moved back to Colorado and was hired as a research analyst in the health program at the National Conference of State Legislatures. While Denver is becoming a hub for public policy organizations, I believe that a master's from LSE contributed to my new position at a prestigious national organization.

After doing the MSc in Social Policy and Development, I decided to focus on environmental economics and carbon finance and joinedÉcoRessources, a Canadian environmental economics company with offices in Lima, Peru. I am now working as a researcher at the Institute of Strategic Studies in Islamabad.

After passing MRCP, I joined LSE and completed my MSc HEPM. Soon, I got the national training number in neurology at one of the most prestigious neurological institutions.
