Details for the pre-departure event in the UAE for LSE offer holders are yet to be confirmed. They will appear on this webpage once they have been finalised.
British Council Events
British Council UAE will be conducting pre-departure briefings for students who are interested in studying in the UK or have received a confirmed offer from a UK institution for the September 2013 intake.
These briefings will provide students with basic information about life as an international student in the UK and give them the chance to ask questions and interact with their peers (some of whom may even be attending the same university!)
The sessions will include information about the UK visa procedures as well as provide students with the opportunity to learn about various activities and travel opportunities available to them in addition to tips on staying safe, healthy and productive.
Students will also have the chance to meet with their peers – some of whom may even be enrolled in the same university!
All workshops are free of charge and will take place from 10.00 to 13.00 as follows:
1- Dubai: 15 June 2013 British Council office, Oud Metha, near Rashid Hospital and Dubai TV
2- Abu Dhabi: 22 June 2013, British Council office Khalidyia
