LSE accepts a range of international qualifications, which are listed individually on the country pages. If you cannot find your qualification on the page for your country, please visit www.naric.org.uk or go to your local British Council Office for more information.
You should be aware that although many overseas qualifications meet the minimum requirements for eligibility, this does not guarantee admission. In the entries for each individual undergraduate programme you will find figures for the number of applications and available places which will give you some idea of the competition for admission.
Some applicants from overseas may be asked to sit the UG Admissions Assessment (UGAA). The relevant country pages include more information if this applies to you.
Students whose first language is not English will be required to provide evidence of proficiency in the English language. Details are on our main English language requirements page. If you want to improve your English, the Language Centre runs a range of courses for international students.
For more information on the application process please see How to apply.
