Maria Gloria Amorozo - Ecuador
MSc Population and Development
If somebody were to ask me if I would be willing to repeat my LSE experience I would undoubtedly answer with a resounding YES! Deciding to come to LSE to study a master's has been one of the most exciting and challenging experiences in my life. I have not only grown academically, but have also enjoyed the experience of living in one of the most intercultural and amazing cities in the world. London has been a great host to me. LSE gives students many opportunities to be involved both academically, and socially. I decided to join the Running Society which has been perfect for balancing work and exercise, but also for knowing more people and the beautiful walks of London.
The MSc Population and Development programme has strengthened my past professional experience with a strong and solid academic foundation. Learning from the best academics in international development and social policy has been incredible. I am sure after this year I will be prepared to go back to Ecuador and face new challenges in my professional and personal life.
This year would not have been the same without the amazing people and teachers I have got to know along the way. People from all over the world, with different backgrounds, languages, interests; people who have since become friends for life. This is part of the rich experience at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
