An offer from LSE is only authoritative when received as an official offer letter. The offer letter will be accompanied by an Offer Pack, published in January each year, which contains information about what to do next. As an offer holder you will receive other information both from your department and from the Graduate Admissions Office. This will take the form of email newsletters.
Your offer will either be conditional or unconditional. If your offer is unconditional, you may still be required to provide official evidence of some of your documents or qualifications. The offer letter and the online application status tracker will both contain details of the conditions/documents you are required to fulfil. Please read all of the information we send you carefully and respond as appropriate, using the online forms linked to your record on the online status tracker. If your postal or email address changes, please ensure you keep your record up to date using LSE for You.
For Overseas students requiring a visa for entry clearance to the UK, we start to send out CASs in May each year. Advice on the visa process can be found on our Information for international students pages.
You may also receive invitations to pre-departure social events in your home country, where you can meet fellow students and alumni.
