Empirics of Management: An Academic Excellence Programme at LSE is held in collaboration with the Fundación Rafael del Pino. It combines the best of LSE´s world class teaching and research in the field in a specially-designed format for young academics in Spain who have a strong background in economics, finance or other related social sciences.
This programme will seek to train a cadre of first-class Spanish participants who will absorb knowledge at LSE and impart that knowledge back in Spain, and thus help to multiply the impact of their individual training and experience. The programme will provide excellent capacity building by helping young academics in Spain with the skills and intellectual frameworks needed to provide current and future leadership in academia.
The programme is aimed at those who have the potential to provide future leadership in Spanish academia, based on excellent professional analytical and technical skills, and to encourage future research to be undertaken in a serious academic manner. The programme itself will be a four-day intensive course at LSE from Monday 5 to Friday 9 September 2016.
Successful applicants will receive full funding for the programme as well as accommodation in London for the duration of the programme.
Applications are now closed.
