The third Masterclass for 2015, Technology, Business and the Rise of the Machines: The future of the Internet, will take place in Madrid from Monday 26th to Wednesday 28th October 2015 at the Fundación Ramón Areces.
In this masterclass, the focus will be on the economic impact of technology, including investigating the role of information and communication technology for organisational innovation which is undergoing radical changes. The masterclass will begin by looking at cloud computing and its impact on business. This will also include the challenges and management of cloud computing and well as future directions. The second day will look at the impact of disruptive technologies on competition as well as designing appropriate strategic responses. The masterclass will finish by looking at the challenges of innovating in an increasingly digital world. A special focus will be on the impact to organisational innovation, business risks, the future of work, and relationships between organisations and their constituents.
