Training for the Future; Schools, Universities and National Economic Performance

The fourth Masterclass for 2014, Training for the Future; Schools, Universities and National Economic Performance, took place in Madrid from Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 November 2014 at the Fundación Ramón Areces.

This Masterclass focused on education within a global context. We explored two key areas within education: secondary school policy and university funding through a comparative approach. The Masterclass looked at how these affect competitiveness and employment in the wider economy and identified the challenges and possible solutions to encourage stronger economic performance and national growth.
