The third Masterclass for 2014, The Economics of Change: Achieving better growth and a better climate, will take place in Madrid from Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 October 2014 at the Fundación Ramón Areces.
This Masterclass will focus on the economics of change. Economies have constantly had to adapt to changing preferences, politics and technologies. The next few decades will involve continuing transformation. The session examines the critical choices countries now face that will shape their economies for decades to come. With responsive policy and accountable institutional frameworks, the coming transformation can deliver strong economic growth and poverty reduction, and at the same time reduce the growing potential risks of climate change.
