Suggested reading for Level One

FCO

You will be provided with packs on the first day of the course, containing all required readings. To benefit fully, however, you should be aware of the current and most pressing issues in the global economy. It is therefore recommended that you spend some time exploring the blogs, columns and articles below which offer an analysis of the economy and provide crucial information. We have also uploaded some useful readings for which Simon Leaver-Cole will supply a password.

Since understanding these debates requires a certain level of familiarity with key economic concepts you may feel that you lack the knowledge to fully understand the underlying dynamics. 'Economics for Foreign Policy – Level 1' is designed to fill those knowledge gaps by helping you link economic ideas with political and economic developments.
