In recent years LSE has made a significant investment in PhD scholarships in order to help the best students to fund study at this level. Details of these awards can be found on the LSE Scholarships pages
In addition to funding its own scholarships LSE is one of just 21 centres in the UK recognised by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) as able to provide specialist methodology training at doctoral level.
The implications of this are that we can offer a number of ESRC funded scholarships for students studying in prescribed fields. Details of these are currently in the process of being updated on our webpage 'what programmes are eligible for LSE’s ESRC DTC studentships?'.
