Golden Scholarships

LSE is pleased to announce two Golden Scholarships, for an undergraduate student from the UK in financial need. The first commenced in the 2019/20 session and the second is available for entry to LSE in 2020. 

Eligibility

This scholarship is for a UK undergraduate with an offer of admission to any UG programme, with a preference for a female applicant, who demonstrates financial need.

Scholarship amount

The scholarship has a value of £6,250 per academic year and is renewable for the second and third years of study, subject to satisfactory academic performance. 

How to apply

Once you've received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional), you can apply for this scholarship. Please complete the application form. By completing this form, you will ensure that you receive consideration for this and any other LSE scholarship(s) which you meet the eligibility criteria for.

The deadline for the receipt of applications is: 1 June 2020.

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) the Financial Support Office (FSO) is now working remotely, which means we cannot receive hard copies of application forms or supporting documents. We are now accepting scanned copies of application forms and supporting documents by the scholarship deadline.

To be considered for a scholarship please complete the LSE Undergraduate Scholarship Application 2020 and return a scanned copy along with your supporting documents to the FSO at financial-support@lse.ac.uk. Your academic reference can also be sent by email from the institutional email address of your referee to the FSO inbox (financial-support@lse.ac.uk), we will match it with your application.
