How can I contact teaching staff to answer queries?

All academic staff have regular office hours and are willing to support you and give you advice to try to make things easier for you.

How do I find out who is my Tutor?

The allocation is carried out at the beginning of the academic session and lists giving the names of tutors, their locations and the times for initial appointments are posted via email and on boards outside the administration offices for Social Psychology and Media@lse|

How do I find out my timetable?

The timetable for lectures is available on the LSE Teaching and Timetabling site.

What study skills support is provided by the School?

The School offers a range of study support facilities, via the Library|, IMT Services|, the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC)|, the Language Centre|, and Academic Registry. Easy access to the various events and support activities are available via the TLC website. The TLC organises a series of study skills lectures and workshops. Students are welcome to attend.

Does the MSc confer Graduate Basis for Registration or Membership with the British Psychological Society?

No. The MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology is the only MSc programme that confers Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society.

Can one switch MSc programmes during the Michaelmas Term?

It is possible to change MSc programmes. However, all changes are subject to approval, space availability, and the students' ability to satisfy programme specific admissions criteria.

What is the Psychology@LSE student database?

We have an online database where students and Alumni are encouraged to add their profile details to create a page about themselves, however short or long. They will be able to edit this page at any time after adding a profile. We are proud of our students achievements and want to keep in touch with everyone.
