Psychology@LSE students at the End of Year Party

shoseShose Kessi

Past DSP PhD student, Shose Kessi, is awarded a prestigious fellowship at Harvard University

Shose Kessi completed her PhD in Psychology@LSE in 2010 (working with Caroline Howarth and Claudine Provencher) and secured a Lectureship at the University of Cape Town (UCT). She has been made a Mandela Mellon Fellow at the WEB DuBois Research Institute at Harvard University’s Hutchins Centre for African and African American Research. The fellowship is awarded to academics whose research contributes to the development of higher education in South Africa. During her time at Harvard, she will write up a Photovoice project she conducted last year with black students at UCT on racial identities and representations in a previously white and currently transforming University. She will be giving a seminar about her research on 12 March 2014 at the Barker Centre, Harvard University.
