Undergraduate Welfare Fund
To help Department of Social Policy undergraduate students in financial difficulty by way of small grants or loans. We envisage that individual loans and grants are likely to fall within the range of £50-£400.

The David Billis Student Fund
Grants will normally be made either to assist students with the cost of undertaking fieldwork for dissertations or theses or as a contribution to the expenses involved in taking part in academic conferences. The maximum grant available for each application will be £500. There will a maximum of 4 grants awarded per academic year.
Applications for assistance from the fund can be made by current full- and part-time students who are registered for:

Titmuss Meinhardt Hardship Fund
Available to all Social Policy students. In proven cases of unforeseeable need or emergency, a student may apply for a sum up to an approved maximum from the Secretary of the Fund. Students are expected to approach the Financial Support Office before seeking help from this Fund.
