Essays on equity in health systems during economic crisis: the case of Greece

Ilias is a PhD Candidate at the LSE, and a Research Assistant at LSE Health, with a particular interest in health economics and policy and quantitative methods. He holds an MSc in Economics (Research) from the LSE (as an Onassis Foundation Scholar) and an MSc in Health Care Management from the National School of Public Health in Athens, Greece. Moreover, Ilias received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Athens (as an IKY Scholar). Prior to joining LSE, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Greek National School of Public Health and interned at the Economic Research Department, Bank of Greece.

Research interests:
Health economics, health policy, quantitative research, applied econometrics.
