Gabriel is originally from Sweden and holds a BA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Social Policy (research) from the LSE. He is affiliated with the Centre for Economic Performance at the LSE, Research Institute of Industrial Economics in Stockholm, Sweden, and the Centre for Education Economics in London.

Research interests:The economics of social policy, econometric evaluations, quasi-markets, user choice.
