Promotion to the second year (i.e. admission onto the doctoral programme at the Department of International Development) is subject to the following conditions:
An overall average mark of 65 in MSc Development Studies (Research), to include at least a mark of 65 for DV410. Availability of appropriate supervision A research proposal that is evaluated as coherent by the Doctoral Programme Committee. ^
