For MSc Social Research Methods and research students who intend to use qualitative and quantitative computer packages in their research.
Course content
It is intended to provide research students with an appreciation of various computer packages for qualitative and text analysis through introduction and hands-on training in the use of these tools.
Teaching
Half-day introductory training courses on computer packages such as, Nvivo, ATLAS/ti, ALCESTE, QDA Miner/Wordstat/Simstat, Stata and SPSS during the LT and ST. Participants will sign up via MOODLE.
