Frank Horace Hahn (1925-) was a Professor of Economics at LSE from 1967-72. Economically, his particular interests lay in general equilibrium and microeconomic theory. Interested in the construction of a theory of the economy as a whole, he contributed to the development of this field through his work on general equilibrium and transaction costs, and he was active in the 'stability' research of the 1960s. His publications include General Competitive Analysis (with K.J.Arrow)(1971), The Share of Wages in National Income (1972), Money and Inflation (1982), and Equilibrium and Macroeconomics (1984).
