The financial and programme management of EU-funded programmes, their performance, the measurement of their performance, audit and accountability, and the reform of management systems relevant to those programmes. The evaluation of programmes. My research uses quantitative and qualitative data points to build up a longitudinal picture of performance variables. Public administration and its meta-reform, theories explaining these trends drawn from multi-disciplinary roots (economics, policy studies, political science, sociology, management, psychology).

I have additional expertise in educational management and course and programme design.
