Marianna is a researcher with a particular interest in child and adult mental health services. She is currently working on the APPLAUSE project (Adolescent Precursors to Psychiatric Disorders – Learning from User Service Engagement) based in the UK and Brazil and looks at the relative value of formal mental health services and informal social and familial support structures in promoting fruitful engagement with care. Previously she worked in adolescent mental health research and within the adult mental health services within the NHS. She is currently completing an MSc in Early Intervention in Psychosis at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience as King’s College London
